If the helicopter luncheon flyover McLaren Vale got you started on your bucket list, you’re going to want to keep the momentum going with Adelaide’s next instalment of epic activities.
Here’s your chance to take the plunge and abseil 70 metres from the top of the InterContinental Hotel Adelaide, and take in breathtaking views of the River Torrens during this rooftop experience.
The epic bucket list ticket, taking place from 27 – 28 August, is in aid of several charities that support people who face great challenges in their daily lives.
Those daring enough to make the scale will first select one of three charities with the public able to sponsor each ‘plunger’ with a donation to support their chosen cause and already raising a massive $38,000.
Charities supported through the Adelaide City Plunge are:
Ronald McDonald House Adelaide: An independent, not-for-profit organisation that provides practical assistance to families whose children are receiving treatment at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Puddle Jumpers: A non-profit, non-government organisation committed to responding to the social development needs of society’s most vulnerable children and young people. We believe that all kids matter and deserve the right to engage in happy and fun experiences in their life.
HeartKids: The only national not-for-profit organisation solely focused on supporting and advocating for all people impacted by childhood heart disease, one of the largest causes of infant death in Australia.
The ultimate adventure is organised by Zenith Events, which create experience based activities for fundraising, promotions and entertainment boasting an epic list of experiences including abseiling and fly foxes from city buildings and sporting grounds.
Rally the troops for an epic team building experience, or go it alone and brave the 25 story descent of a lifetime!
