In response to the continued bushfire crisis being faced in the Adelaide Hills, Mount Lofty House is holding an exclusive $2000 per couple fundraising event, aiming to raise $22k for the bushfire appeal. They have posted the following:
A spokesperson for Mount Lofty House says “The Adelaide Hills fires are still burning and it is with great sadness that we continue to learn of so many Adelaide Hills friends, guests and local suppliers that have suffered significant losses. Our hearts go out to all those affected and it is with enormous gratitude we thank all the firefighters risking their lives fighting these terrible fires.“
Mount Lofty House will be hosting a special event to raise funds for the State Emergency Relief Fund on Friday the 31st of January to assist in raising funds desperately needed to assist in the recovery of our local community.
The special event will include a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, a bottle of their Summit Blanc de Blanc Sparkling and house made cookies in the room, overnight accommodation in one of their newly refurbished luxury suites, along with a hosted 7 course degustation dinner with wine paired exclusively from Adelaide Hills wines and breakfast in the morning. Tickets will be $2000 per couple with 100% of ticket sales being donated to the State Emergency Relief Fund to assist those affected by the fires.
Tickets are limited to 22 places, and in the event that this fundraiser sells out we will be hosting a second event to support the South Australian CFS.
This is a unique opportunity to assist our local community while experiencing one of the best accommodation and stay offerings in Australia. Mount Lofty House was this year awarded ‘Best Restaurant in a Hotel in Australia’, ‘Best Deluxe Hotel in SA; ‘Best Winelist in SA’, ‘Best Small Bar in SA’ along with being awarded 3 Chef Hats and 3 Glasses. *
