A brand new retail depot is proposed to open on Mount Barker Road in Totness late next year, bringing with it a huge new Officeworks, and space for three more retail outlets.
The Officeworks store will be 2,000sqm with rear loading and retail space. Additionally, positions for more than twenty employees are set to open up, making this a fantastic boost to the local community.
“We are excited to bring Officeworks to the Mount Barker community to help Australians work, learn, create and connect. We will employ more than twenty team members and look forward to opening our eleventh store in South Australia in late 2025,” shared Kylie Brockett, Head of Property, Officeworks.
As for the other three retail locations, tenancy size options range from 700sqm to 2,560sqm, with 115 parking spots and rear loading provisions.
The site is located on prime real estate, nestled within an already established commercial hub. With Bunnings Warehouse, Petstock, Super Cheap Auto, Dreamland, and more on its doorstep, and a post office, which is a convenient 2 kilometres away, this will be a great retail development for the Hills.
Totness is in close proximity to Mount Barker, and the South Eastern Freeway exit to Mount Barker Road offers seamless connectivity, allowing access to and from surrounding towns such as Hahndorf, Stirling and Nairne.
The project is under the watch of South Australian developer, Emmett, who has been a market leader in developing and constructing industrial, commercial, retail and residential properties across the state. Over the past twenty years, Emmett has delivered more than $600 million worth of projects.
Construction is anticipated to be completed next year, with a handover to tenants in the middle of the year.
