Adelaide legend Peter Combe will return to the stage this Christmas, performing his greatest hits live, as well as some of his best songs from his Christmas Album for that added festive cheer.
Hitting the stage on December 11th, Combe and his band will keep the kids and adults alike entertained for an hour of ‘newspaper mama’ fun!
Across a career spanning four decades, the kids entertainer has captivated generations of Australian families with fun and catchy original songs like Wash Your Face in Orange Juice and Spaghetti Bolognese.
His regular come-backs to the stage are always a welcome treat for people of all ages, including gens y and z, who grew up with the children’s entertainer on their screens.
There’ll be no better way to start of the school holidays, than with this legendary children’s singer and songwriter as he belts out his biggest songs alongside the Bellyflop in a Pizza Band and the Fabulous Combettes.
Critical acclaim for Combe’s work has included three ARIA awards and six nominations, with 1987’s Toffee Apple being the first-ever children’s album to win an ARIA.
Seven of his albums have achieved Gold and two reached Platinum, with Combe having a plaque on Adelaide Festival Centre’s Walk of Fame. He’s also received an Order of Australia Medal for his contribution to the performing arts.
