Flower Picking at Charleston Farm

There’s nothing more spring-like than flower picking, and at Charleston Farm, you can do just that. Throughout the springtime, their major crop is Ranunculus, but also blooming at various times throughout the season are Tulips, Alliums, Anemones, Chincherinchee, Peonies, Larkspur, Delphinium, Stock, Poppies, Billy Buttons, Scabiosa, Feverfew and Statice. Charleston Farm offer heaps of different ways to experience the flowers, from straightforward picking sessions to Snip + Sip evenings with bubbles in hand, and collabs like Paint + Pick, or even hosting your own private flower picking party.

From Saddle to Cellar at Petaluma Wines

Woodside’s Petaluma Wines have a horse and wine experience on offer. Start with a private guided 45-minute trail ride through the picturesque vineyards. Then, after your ride, return to the cellar door for a tasting featuring Petaluma and Croser wines, including their flagship range. Enjoy on the deck in summer or by the fire in winter.

Highland Cow Experience

This spring, Willunga Hill’s Wildhand Farm is the perfect spot to get up close and personal with the most adorable Highland cows. Located at Willunga Hill, this farm is a total hidden gem. The family behind Wildhand started the business farm five years ago, growing Australian Native Flowers on 25 acres, while homing a small fold of purebred Highland Cattle, and have since adapted their offerings to suit what their guests wanted!

For just one day only this spring, you’ll be able to step into the buzzing world of beekeeping with Phil Marshall from Adelaide Bee Sales. This hands-on experience gives you the chance to wear a beekeeper suit, visit a working hive, and even handle live bees under Phil’s expert guidance. Oysterfest is returning to Ceduna for its 35th year, bringing together some of the region’s very best seafood. This is a totally salty, sun-soaked celebration of the Eyre Peninsula’s world-famous oysters that you’re going to want to get in on as the weather gets warmer.

OzAsia Moon Lantern Trail and Lucky Dumpling Market

This spring marks the return of the very popular Lucky Dumpling Market, which will transport visitors to the bustling street markets of Asia with dumplings, noodles, bao, salads and curry.
The Moon Lantern Trail will also return, ready to light up the banks of the Karrawirra Parri/River Torrens, celebrating traditions and stories from across Asia. Follow the Hong Kong Dragon lantern to Tarntanya Wama/Pinky Flat and discover over a dozen giant lanterns across the parkland.
