With the increasing popularity of electronic music, the small, sweaty, beer-soaked mosh pits of band venues are potentially losing the culture of thumping, raw, live music. But new band, My Echo, with their original blend of punk, rock, blues, rockabilly are bringing back that culture to small, rock venues as they tour their new EP Self Titled over the next month.
Collarbones' Travis Cook and Marcus Whale met on the Internet in 2007. Divided by 1150km (with Cook in Adelaide and Whale in Sydney), they pieced together their brilliant debut album Iconography, which saw the duo nominated for a FBi SMAC Award as well as two ARIA Awards (2011).
