The Arkaba has teamed up with South Australian icons, Adelaide Hills Distillery and Bec Hardy Wines, to bring their guests two exclusive food and wine experiences.

The Adelaide Hills Distillery Gin & Spirit Degustation is a foodie and gin-lovers dream, and will be an intimate and exclusive experience. We would highly recommended acting fast, because the degustation is limited to just 20 people.

Six courses will be carefully paired with a gin or spirit to accentuate both the flavours and notes at the degustation on June 10.

Arkaba’s Hotel Manager Jordarn Karpowicz, said there was “something special” about Adelaide Hills Distillery.

“It’s hard to know whether it’s the story of Sacha La Forgia, who is a winemaker turned distiller, or the way their unique gin distilling techniques sets them apart from others or how there is a product for everyone and every occasion. In honesty, it is probably a culmination of all three.

“A distillery so bespoke needs a night to showcase their flavours and flair, which is why we have teamed up to bring you at the Ark,” he said.

The other unmissable event is the Bec Hardy Wine Dinner, a delicious three-course meal by Arkaba’s award-winning Chef Anthony Giardina expertly matched Bec Hardy Wines.

Bec Hardy Wines, co-owned by sixth generation Hardy family member Bec and her husband, Richard is much-loved for its welcoming atmosphere and calendar of fun events from yoga to painting in the vines and now there is another reason to drop by and while away an afternoon.

Bec was also recognised as one of South Australia’s best young business people at the annual ‘40 under 40’ Business Awards.

Mr Karpowic said, “this event will offer a special insight into The Hardy’s, a name which has been synonymous with South Australian wine since the 1850s. Bec Hardy continues that tradition, building on the experience and reputation of her predecessors with a modern twist on 170 years of winemaking heritage. She will make this food and wine experience unmissable for food and wine lovers.”
