SA to officially open regional Victoria border tonight

Those travelling from regional Victoria will no longer be required to quarantine.

The South Australia border will lift for regional Victoria following Premier Dan Andrews’ confirmation that the state will come out of lockdown at midnight tonight.

Those travelling from locations in regional Victoria will no longer meet a hard border or have quarantine requirements when entering South Australia, and will instead be required to undergo COVID-19 testing on day one, five, and 12.

On the proviso that there are no further community transmission cases for 14 days since the last case, the earliest date will land on February 25, greater Melbourne’s border restrictions will also lift.
