Adelaide BMW is set to further strengthen their position as market share leaders within the South Australian premium vehicle sector, with the October 19 release of the 4 Series Coupé; filling a void in both the market and the BMW range.

“The aesthetics and performance capabilities of the 4 Series Coupé make it a highly desirable vehicle, though the preliminary interest received in the lead-up to the launch has exceeded even our expectations,” Chris says.
The 4 Series Coupé marks a new era for BMW as it replaces the outgoing 3 Series Convertible and Coupé predecessor; making way for a 4 Series Convertible and Gran Coupé set for release in 2014.
Introduced in 1975, The 3 Series holds more legacy for the BMW brand than any other, however there is a clear division between high-volume family vehicles, and the performance-focused coupé and convertible within the current range.
“The development of a 4 Series is a natural progression for the BMW brand – we will see two superior collections of vehicles with consistent characteristics as a result,” Chris says.
The design of the 4 Series Coupé sees a combination of performance, aesthetics, comfort, and practicality that is not seen in any other premium mid-sized coupé currently on the market.
“The appeal of a coupé has always remained athleticism and sleek design, however often at the sacrifice of comfort and space. The dynamic design of the 4 Series Coupé ensures ample rear-seating leg space, head space, and boot size – a necessity for many customers.”
“Not only does the 4 Series Coupé provide a superior alternative within its own market division, it also gives BMW customers a size and price-point alternative between our entry-level 1 Series Coupé, and the larger more expensive 6 Series Coupé,” Chris says.
