Dog-friendly Sunday on at Beer & BBQ Festival

The multi-day event, which goes from July 23 to 25 at the Adelaide Showgrounds, is encouraging beer and barbecue lovers to bring their pooches along for the fun.

Pups and pints – what an amazing combination!

The upcoming Beer & BBQ Festival has announced they’re hosting a dog-friendly day amid their boozy weekend.

The multi-day event, which goes from July 23 to 25 at the Adelaide Showgrounds, will see an array of craft brewers, live music, barbecue eats––and now your pups on the Sunday!

The recently announced line-up boasts on-point craft heavy hitters alongside some never-before-seen emerging brewers, distillers, and a brand-new wine program that’s set to be the festival’s most diverse range yet. The local line-up of brewers is massive and includes your favourite neighbourhood slingers Big Shed, Little Bang, Mismatch & Pirate Life, alongside new kids on the craft beer block like SixTwleve Brewing, Blackwood Brewing, and Bowden Brewing Co. There will also be interstate brewers, such as Victorian Moondog and festival first-timers Otherside from Perth.

For the “BBQ” side of the festival, it will have the “best-of-the-best BBQers from around the country,” including newbies the Contemporary Japanese Deli, The Filipino Project, and a plethora of jerky vendors.

Led by the Smith Street Band, Bodyjar and 28 days, Beer & BBQ Festival will also see an epic line-up of live music to coat your BBQ meal in melody.

The festival’s third and final day will not only be pet-friendly, but also kid-friendly, with multiple family activities for your kids available on the day.

With beer-patterned collars and party-loving smiles, the pooches of Beer & BBQ Festival’s past are pictured below, happy to join in on a Sundays session of breweries and barbecue. This year, your pooches are also welcome and encouraged to come, as long as they’re “on a lead and good with people.”

Here are some adorable dogs from Beer & BBQ Festival’s 2019 Sunday.
