If you’re looking for something to keep the kids entertained over this long weekend, we’ve got you covered with this exciting new adventure playground.
The play space opened last week in Paddocks Reserve, and we can guarantee you, the kids will have an absolute blast.
With state-of-the-art new equipment, the playground includes different slides of all shapes and sizes, climbing walls, water features, and of course everyone’s favourite… SWINGS!
The playground even includes an extraordinary waterplay area for kids to splash around in so don’t forget to pack some extra dry clothes. The space also has an interactive nature play space which allows kids to gain learning experiences while they also have fun.
The reserve stretches a massive six hectares, home to sporting fields, netball courts and a football oval – so, there’s something for the older kids to explore and enjoy.
Open fields with setups suited for soccer and cricket are also available, so there really is something for every member of the family to check out. There’s even a half-pipe for the skaters to enjoy and a dog park in the reserve, so you can even bring along the furry friends of the family.
The wetlands are an incredible site in and of itself. As a home to an array of land and aquatic habitats, the park allows you to immerse yourself in nature. With stunning trees towering over you, take a walk and watch the frogs and fish swim around the wetlands. It truly is an amazing area to explore on your extra day of family time.
With so many different types of play spaces, the new playground has something that’s sure to entertain every kid. From your standard play equipment through to water play and nature play, the playground is a must-try for young families.
The new playground is located in Para Hills’ Paddocks Reserve.
