Marina Pier’s much-loved The Wharf & Co. has unveiled a fresh new look, revamped menu and new direction as the long-running waterfront venue begins its next chapter.
The restaurant has been reimagined with contemporary coastal interiors, a new head chef and a seasonal bistro-style menu, while retaining the sweeping marina views that have made it a familiar part of the precinct for almost two decades.
“With something for every occasion, Marina Pier remains Adelaide’s premier waterfront destination, inviting visitors to discover vibrant dining experiences, stunning coastal views, and the unique atmosphere that makes marina dining so special,” restaurant manager Prabh said.
Prabh explained that the “& Co.” represents everyone around the restaurant, from its producers and team to its long-time customers.
If you’ve been to the venue before, then it’s easy to recognise the amazing seaside views from beyond the massive glass window, but nearly every other aspect has been reimagined.

The relaunch comes as Marina Pier heads into spring with fresh momentum, with new menus, dining experiences and events rolling out across the waterfront destination.
Visitors can settle in for long lunches, shared feasts and sunset drinks overlooking the marina, while venues across the precinct are embracing the warmer season with new offerings of their own.
The season will culminate in a lively Melbourne Cup celebration, bringing race-day excitement to the waterfront from morning through to sunset.
Across the precinct, venues are embracing the flavours of the season. Luciano’s is launching its new Sapori di Primavera lunch experience, featuring a three-course seasonal menu that changes weekly, while Seafire will host a series of premium dining events, including a Yalumba wine dinner showcasing some of South Australia’s finest food and wine.

The Wharf and Co.’s new head chef Time Orantanawat has developed a contemporary bistro menu with former Red Ochre Barrel and Grill owner and chef Ray Mauger, built around seasonal produce and ingredients sourced close to home.
The new menu leans into contemporary bistro cooking, with dishes including 48-hour short rib croquettes with horseradish cream, a goat’s cheese soufflé with pickled walnut and kohlrabi, twice-cooked chicken Maryland with tarragon cream, and Daintree barramundi paired with spiced cauliflower and green harissa.
The new direction extends into the restaurant’s weekly offering, with September bringing a $49pp Monday date night, $35 steak frites on Tuesdays, free corkage for locals on Wednesdays and a $30 weekday lunch deal.

With The Wharf & Co. beginning a new chapter, Marina Pier is turning up the heat as we fall into spring and look for ways to spend the longer days and hotter temperatures.
