If you’re looking for an experience that takes a staycation to the next level this winter, then Eos by SkyCity Adelaide has your answer.
This July, Eos is bringing locals and tourists a new cultural experience that brings together world-renowned art, five-star accommodation and some of the city’s top hospitality.
Launching on July 11th and available until November 8th, The Art Escape is a collaboration between Eos by SkyCity and the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA), inviting guests to turn a gallery visit into a fully immersive city stay.
Created to celebrate AGSA’s Monet to Matisse: Defying Tradition exhibition, that package starts from $530 and includes an overnight stay at Eos, two exhibition tickets, two glasses of Taittinger Champagne to enjoy at the gallery’s Taittinger pop-up bar or AGSA_eat bistro, an exclusive in-room exhibition souvenir and a bespoke Art Journey Guide.
The guide has been designed to complement the exhibition by highlighting key works from Monet to Matisse alongside artworks found throughout Eos.

The exhibition follows one of the most influential periods in art history, featuring iconic works by celebrated European and American artists from the 19th and 20th centuries, including masterpieces by Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh from the renowned Toledo Museum of Art collection.
Art Gallery of South Australia Director Jason Smith shared, “Monet to Matisse will reveal one of art history’s most transformative periods through a truly outstanding collection of treasures from the Toledo Museum of Art. From Vincent van Gogh’s luminous haystacks to Claude Monet’s iconic water lilies, visitors will encounter paintings by some of the world’s most influential artists.”
As a long-time supporter of the Art Gallery of South Australia, Eos is home to an impressive collection of more than 900 original works by over 40 South Australian artists and artisans. From paintings and photography to sculpture and glasswork, original pieces are found throughout the hotel’s suites, restaurants, corridors and event spaces, making art part of the guest experience long before they step inside the gallery.
