While you’re tasting your way through spicy food vendors, watching the colourful Thai dancers perform and hearing cultural energetic rhythms, you might just mistake a local footy oval in Adelaide for a vibrant party in Thailand.
That’s the aim of Thai Festival 2023, as it brings the authentic culture of southeast Asia to the city this March.
The festival will take over Kings Reserve in Torrensville on Saturday March 26.
With over 30 food stalls and an epic line-up of entertainment, Thai Festival will celebrate its fifth year of showcasing the beauty of Asia.
Thai Festival 2023 will showcase the long tradition of Thai temple fair – a fun event with loads of finger food, unique costumes and the old-school fun games!
When you’re feeling hungry, you can indulge in some truly delicious street food. There will be over 30 stalls and a whole host of food stalls and cooking demonstrations. It’s authentic cuisine without leaving the state.
The Thai Festival is a family friendly event, and the abundant activities include a whole host for the kids. There are folk games, a dedicated kid zone, face painting, arts and crafts, and carnival games like throwing rings and darts. Enough to keep the kids entertained for hours!
There will also be a wine and beer garden to relax into while soaking in the beauty and vibrant culture.
