Bornga’s newest venue was spotted by keen Adelaide fans back in April before the spot had even opened, not that the glowing sign hid its identity well.
It may also be because Korean BBQ has become a bit of a big thing here in South Australia, so when the news hit, nobody was disappointed. Bornga originally hails from South Korea and currently has venues all over the nation, from Haymarket and Rhodes in Sydney to Melbourne and Brisbane CBDs.

A new Vietnamese eatery has quietly opened in Mawson Lakes, offering a cosy, modern spin on what’s usually considered a takeaway spot. A new cafe concept setting its own trends has just opened on the upper ground level of Myer Centre Adelaide, with a drink-making machine you’ve probably never heard of at the centre of the offering.
Pressed & Co is the new venture from Zayt & Zaatar co-owner Nedal Choujaa, who is partnering with his wife Amber Choujaa to open this cafe and a second of the same name at Westfield Tea Tree Plaza, which is currently on its way.

Prospect’s tucked-away Indian restaurant has officially entered its next chapter, with Rasooi now relaunched as Rasoi & Barrel under new operators Rennee and her husband Pammi.

In a world of streaming, recommendations, and endless scrolling, one Adelaide store is bringing the magic of the old-school video shop back to life.
Vicious Video is opening in Gay’s Arcade, giving the city something wonderfully unexpected in 2026: a physical video store built around VHS tapes, cult films, retro cover art and the kind of browsing experience that takes you back to swinging by your local Video Ezy to pick up a few titles for the weekend. It’s an experience a lot of us had accepted had disappeared for good.
