1) ASIA OASIS STREET FOOD FESTIVAL | FRIDAY 29 NOVEMBER – SUNDAY 1 DECEMBER
You are invited to experience authentic Asian street food and cultures on the riverbank of River Torrens when a three-night-only street food festival rolls into the heart of Adelaide city this December.

2) MOONLIGHT CINEMA | THURSDAY 28 NOVEMBER – SUNDAY 29 DECEMBER
The time has come, SA! Australia’s favourite outdoor cinema, Moonlight Cinema, is gearing up for its 29th summer season. Kicking off at the end of November, the Moonlight Cinema runs up until December 29th.
This season’s highlights include Hollywood blockbusters such as “Twisters”, “It Ends With Us”, and “Gladiator II.”

3) LATIN ARTS FESTIVAL | SUNDAY 1 DECEMBER
Experience the best of entertainment, music and food at the Latin Arts Festival on December 1st. This free event kicks off from 12pm in Victoria Square, with a craft fair, visual and performing arts, kids show, food and bar stalls and a Latino Fiesta Carnaval.

4) VEGAN FESTIVAL | SATURDAY 7 – SUNDAY 8 DECEMBER
The Vegan Festival Adelaide is back and better than ever this December, happening on Saturday December 7th and Sunday December 8th from 11am to 5pm each day. Set in the beautiful Rundle Park/Kadlitpina in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, attendees can expect 60 stalls packed with delicious plant-based food and cruelty-free products.

5) LANTERN FESTIVAL | SATURDAY 7 & 14 DECEMBER
The Lantern Festival offers a unique gathering for individuals from diverse backgrounds and beliefs to unite on a heartwarming, affirming, and memorable occasion. 6) LOBETHAL LIGHTS FESTIVAL | SATURDAY 7 – SUNDAY 22 DECEMBER
Adelaide’s epicentre for Christmas spirit will make a return this December, with over 700 houses dressed in lights as the town comes alive from the 7th to the 22nd of December.
The Lobethal Lights Festival’s opening night is promised to be an evening filled with entertainment, music and a festive concert atmosphere. Other events will include the ‘Carols in the Valley’ on the 8th, the nightly Centennial Hall Christmas Markets, and the Lobethal Pageant just after the festival on the 23rd.

If disco balls, neon leotards, and classic pop anthems are your idea of a good time, then get ready to ‘Step Back in Time’ with the ultimate retro music festival heading to Adelaide on Saturday, December 14th at Ellis Park. 9) ST JOHN AMBULANCE CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT | SATURDAY 14 DECEMBER
The St John Ambulance Carols by Candlelight is returning to Elder Park with guests invited to bring along a picnic rug and soak up the spirit of Christmas with music, food, drinks and singing.
Gates open at 3pm with the official concert being at 8:15pm which will see superstars Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Dami Im alongside an all-star lineup.

10) STRIKERS BBL | FRIDAY 20, FRIDAY 27 & TUESDAY 31 DECEMBER
Celebrate the Adelaide Strikers at their three Adelaide Oval matches in December. On the 20th the Strikers face the Melbourne Stars, and then on the 27th they take on the Hobart Hurricanes. They then finish the year off with a bang as they go up against the Perth Scorchers on New Year’s Eve.
The New Year’s Eve is always a fun one with extra entertainment and a fireworks display.
