Drag Race Brasil: Live in Adelaide | Sept 17

Adelaide, start your engines.

Because Brazil’s reigning Season 2 Drag Race superstar, Ruby Nox will be joined by Poseidon Drag and Paola Hoffmann Van Cartier, as they head to Adelaide for a one-night only show.

Each queen is set to serve their charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent in individual and group numbers throughout the night. So, you had better sissy that walk to the Rhino Room on Thursday, 17 September for their very first Australian tour.

You can expect fierce performances, fashion realness and the infectious Brazilian energy that has made these queens fan favourites around the world.

Grenache & Gourmet Festival | Sept 18 – Oct 5

What could be better than amazing food and wine? Well, how about 18 full days of taste-testing, glass clinking and gastronomic pleasures that will have you smiling from ear to ear? The Grenache & Gourmet Festival has you covered.

This year, in the heart of Springtime, you can sip and nibble your way to bliss with exclusive tastings, paddock-to-plate feasts and one-off collaborations, all set against the picturesque backdrop of our beloved McLaren Vale, only a 40-minute drive from Adelaide. The festival showcases the best that the region has to offer, with fully immersive experiences that will send shockwaves down your tastebuds, with a clear focus on one of McLaren Vale’s most celebrated red wines, Grenache.

Kaiseki Wagyu Bento Experience | September 18

Riverlea Food Festival | Sept 19

After drawing crowds for its debut last year, one of Adelaide’s newest free food festivals is coming back for seconds this September, with two of the city’s best-known food personalities stepping into the kitchen.

Free to attend and open to everyone, Riverlea Food Fest will return to Milner Place at Riverlea Park on Saturday, 19 September, from 11am to 3pm, just 25 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD. MasterChef Australia favourite Callum Hann and renowned chef David Lovett will headline the culinary program.

Tasting Argentinian Flavours at Comida Hahndorf | Sept 19

Fire-cooked Argentinian flavours, boutique wines and live Latin music are coming together in the heart of Hahndorf for a relaxed afternoon in Comida’s gardens.

Martin from Mordrelle Wines will be cooking a traditional Argentinian barbecue over the fire, with skirt steak, pork belly and sausages served with fresh chimichurri. Settle in beside the fire pits, enjoy a selection of Mordrelle wines and soak up the Latin music and entertainment. Tickets include entry, live entertainment and a glass of wine for adults, with food available at the event.

Discover Disc Golf at Belair National Park | Sept 19

Fancy trying a new outdoor sport? South Australian Disc Golf is inviting beginners to pick up a disc and give disc golf a go at Belair National Park, with a free come and try session as part of the national Discover Disc Golf campaign.

Played like golf, but with flying discs and baskets instead of clubs and holes, disc golf is easy to learn and suitable for all fitness levels. Club members will guide you through the basics, including throwing techniques and putting, with loaner discs provided. No experience or equipment is needed, making it a great opportunity to try something new in the beautiful surrounds of Belair National Park.

MOSAIC Festival 2026 | Sept 19

Adelaide’s multicultural community is coming together for an evening of food, music, dance and cultural celebration, as MOSAIC Festival returns for its eighth annual event.

Taking over the Dom Polski Centre, the youth-led festival will bring together communities from across South Australia for six hours of entertainment, performances and activities. Guests can explore traditional food corners using their event passport, browse the multicultural MOSAIC Bazaar and enjoy the return of the Intercultural Fashion Show. There will also be storytelling, cooking demonstrations and a Living Library, where visitors can hear personal stories about culture, migration and finding a sense of home.

Aloe Blacc: Wake Me Up Tour | Sept 19

Grammy-nominated soul and R&B star Aloe Blacc is returning to Adelaide for the first time in more than seven years, bringing his national Wake Me Up Tour to Her Majesty’s Theatre.

Known for global hits including Wake Me Up, The Man and I Need A Dollar, Aloe will deliver a night of powerhouse vocals, feel-good anthems and songs from his acclaimed album Lift Your Spirit. Fans can also expect new music from his 2025 album Stand Together, as the singer blends soul, funk, hip hop and uplifting storytelling in one of Adelaide’s most iconic theatres.

SANFL Grand Final | Sept 20

The biggest day on South Australia’s local footy calendar is almost here, with the 2026 Hostplus SANFL League Grand Final taking over Adelaide Oval for a huge Sunday of footy, live music and premiership celebrations.

The action begins with the SANFL Futures Game and Reserves Grand Final before the main event kicks off at 2:30pm. South Australian rock icons The Superjesus will provide the pre-match entertainment, adding to the atmosphere as two teams battle it out for the premiership. Whether you’re a diehard supporter or just love a big day at the footy, this is one of the state’s sporting events not to miss.

Adelaide’s first and only plus-size fashion market is returning this September, bringing more than 35 size-inclusive fashion, pre-loved and food stalls together for one big celebration of style and community.

double. will take over Maronite Hall at Westbourne Park on Sunday, September 20, with clothing spanning sizes 16 to 30+, interstate and South Australian designers, pre-loved treasures and the return of its crowd-favourite “Fatwalk” runway.

City-Bay Fun Run | Sept 20

Adelaide’s iconic City-Bay Fun Run is returning this September, bringing thousands of runners, walkers and wheelers together for one of South Australia’s biggest community sporting events.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply keen to enjoy a morning outdoors with friends and family, there’s a distance for everyone. Choose from the classic 12km course, a 6km or 3km event, or take on the half marathon. All four distances finish at Glenelg, where participants can soak up the atmosphere and celebrate their efforts by the beach.

Hardy’s rare four-vintage Cabernet tasting | from September 1

Some bottles are made to be enjoyed straight away, while others spend years tucked away before there is a chance to discover what time has done to them.

This September, Hardys Tintara is opening four vintages of its prestigious Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon for a rare month-long tasting in McLaren Vale, with wines spanning from 2010 to 2020.

It’s a rare opportunity to experience side by side, the collection includes award-winning 2010 and 2013 vintages, the 97-point 2014 Cabernet and the more recent 2020 release.

OysterFest | from September 1

This September, oysters take centre stage in the CBD as Oyster Fest makes a grand return to The Kitchen at SkyCity Adelaide for four weeks.

Celebrating the state’s peak oyster season with freshly shucked oysters, cocktails, wine and a special seafood-inspired menu, SkyCity Rewards members can enjoy oysters for just $1 between 4pm and 5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday throughout September, while non-members can tuck into them for $2 each. The only catch, the offer is available with the purchase of any drink.
