Urban Cocktail Trail – Adelaide CBD | June 6

Grab your girlfriends, throw on your frocks, and strut around the city this June, as the Urban Cocktail Trail returns to Adelaide.

In 2025, the Neighbourhood Events Co. team took the ‘Cocktail Trail’ to Henley Beach, which proved to be a fun and glamorous beachside affair. Now, they’re bringing the concept back to the CBD, with the same purpose and passion as always.

‘Daughters of the Hive’ Gutsy event | June 6

One of Kangaroo Island’s sweetest family-run destinations is opening its doors for a special winter afternoon of honey, art, storytelling and shared food.

Clifford’s Honey Farm will host its first Gutsy Kangaroo Island event, Daughters of the Hive, on Saturday, June 6th, bringing together honey-inspired grazing, drinks and a hands-on botanical gel printing workshop for one afternoon only.

A royally good time at Woodhouse Adventure Park | June 6

Head to Woodhouse Activity Centre this June long weekend, where crisp air, crackling campfires and outdoor adventure set the scene for a royal-style escape just outside Adelaide.

Guests can choose a DAY ADVENTURE pass for unlimited access to the site’s outdoor activities from 9am to 5pm across the long weekend, including the Tube Slide, plus a full program of extra on-site activities designed to keep the whole family entertained. Renmark is warming things up this winter with the launch of Winter Wine Down, a brand-new festival bringing red wine, live music and riverside vibes together on the Murray this June.

Created by the crew behind the Riverland Food and Wine Festival, Sarez Pty Ltd is adding a cosy new vibe to the region’s winter events calendar, transforming the Renmark Riverfront into a celebration of local wine, food and entertainment on Saturday, June 6th.

If there’s ever a telltale sign of a friend group that knows how to have fun, it’s the ones who need very little convincing to pop a cork, pour something crisp and bright, and turn an ordinary afternoon into a load of fun.

It’s those friends that you’re going to want to call for the 2026 return of Adelaide’s premier sparkling wine event.

The Bubbles Festival is back in Adelaide for 2026, bringing a two-hour celebration of champagne, sparkling wine, canapés and a whole heap of fun to the stunning surrounds of Ayers House on Saturday, June 6th.

Victor Harbor Valhalla Festival | June 6 – 7

If ship burnings, axe throwing and markets sound like your ideal weekend, then there’s a new festival rolling into town that you won’t want to miss this winter.

The Dark Ages are heading to Victor Harbor in June, with a brand-new Viking-inspired festival set to transform a slice of the town into a world of warriors, mead and fire. The inaugural Valhalla Festival will take over Kent Reserve with two days of Norse-inspired fun, entertainment and immersive experiences, all leading up to a dramatic Viking ship burning on Saturday night.

Hostplus SANFL League June Long Weekend Games | June 6 -8

Footy fans are spoiled for choice this long weekend, with SANFL clubs serving up plenty more than just action on the field. On Saturday, South Adelaide’s clash with Adelaide at Magain Stadium doubles as a free family fun day, complete with jumping castles, a petting zoo and activities for all ages. Over at Stratarama Stadium, Glenelg’s match against Port Adelaide will celebrate 40 years since the Tigers’ 1985/86 premierships and five years since their 2021 SANFLW flag, with family zones, giveaways and entertainment throughout the day. Then on Monday, Sturt and Norwood’s traditional rivalry gets a festival makeover at Thomas Farms Oval with the Kick n Sip Festival, featuring Spanish-inspired food, a Frankly Gin cocktail bar, live DJs, giant games, face painting, a bouncy castle and a full day of footy, including women’s, reserves and league matches.

Coastal Sounds | June 7

Coastal Sounds is gearing up for a huge return to our local beaches in 2026 with an even bigger celebration of music, art and seaside fun along Adelaide’s stunning coastline this June.

The free, family- friendly event will transform 12 beachfront locations into a coastal trail on Sunday, June 7th, inviting South Australians to get out and enjoy live performances, creative workshops, and entertainment. Running from 10am to late, Coastal Sounds 2026 will stretch from West Beach to Semaphore, with stops at Henley Beach and Grange.

Port Augusta Racing Club – Flying Doctors Race Day | June 7

The Flying Doctor Sprint Cup is returning to Port Augusta Racecourse this June long weekend, bringing a huge day of live thoroughbred racing, family-friendly entertainment and country hospitality to one of South Australia’s most scenic racecourses.

The event will feature the Flying Doctor Sprint Cup, community barbecues, JM Deli pastries from the Track Cafe, bookmakers, televised racing, kids’ games and plenty of opportunities to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
